Program Objectives

The theme of this year's program is "Voting for Success: Electing the Best Candidates for Therapy!" Best available therapy will be emphasized along with the latest information on many skin diseases seen commonly in general and referral practice. We are bringing back by popular demand the latest information on fleas and "What's New and Best" from the North American Veterinary Dermatology Forum held this past April. Much of this information still is unpublished. This year, each presentation will conclude with the five key points that each speaker considers the "pearls" of their topic. Our goal is to bring you the newest information available in a manner that will promote learning and discussion.

Speakers at the Muller Seminars are chosen for their world-class speaking ability and rapport with audiences as well as their knowledge. We are able to select from the best speakers available, as speakers do not say no to the UC Davis Muller Seminars in Hawaii. Our 2008 speakers bring together the collective experiences of both academia and dermatology specialty practice to ensure the presentation of thought-provoking and practical information that will be applicable immediately on your return to your own practices.

As always, our faculty will be available to answer your individual questions at multiple question & answer sessions, panel discussions, refreshment breaks, and at our popular annual "Sunset Chat with the Speakers." Additionally, attending dermatologists and dermatology residents will be sharing their expertise by participating in these events.

We will continue our tradition of strictly limiting attendance to our first 225 registrants. This limit allows us to maintain a high degree of personal attention to each attendee and provide the informal access to both speakers and exhibitors that characterizes this meeting. In 2007, our registration began to fill up more than two months before the meeting and the Big Island always is popular. Each year we attempt to make our Muller Course the best ever, so please join us and register early to avoid disappointment!

Please note that casual dress is appropriate for all meetings and social events.
