Primary Care Veterinary Educators World Symposium

CE Credits: up to 9 hours are available
Cost: Free for one designated AAVMC representative from each U.S. veterinary school or college, $100 for additional AAVMC representatives or $350 for non-AAVMC members.
Lodging: Hyatt Place on the UC Davis campus
This meeting, for small companion animal primary care educators only, is designed to network, generate ideas and develop new skills.
One designated representative from each AAVMC international and United States veterinary school or college will be provided registration and accommodation at no charge, plus travel and transportation up to $750 (e.g. airfare, mileage, shuttle) to attend the meeting. Meals are included. Additional AAVMC representatives are welcome; however they will be responsible for covering their own registration fees, accommodation and transportation.
There is an optional pre-trip for a guided kayak tour of Elkhorn Slough, just north of Monterey, on Thursday, October 16. Interested individuals should email Julie Meadows or call 209-480-4390.
Please remember that UC Davis is in the Pacific Time Zone and observes Daylight Saving Time. If you are a Merial-sponsored representative please save all travel receipts and submit them electronically (originals are not required) for reimbursement to Andrew Zoeller along with your name and mailing address.
Sacramento International Airport (SMF) is approximately a 20 minute drive to the UC Davis campus. Shuttles arrangements from the airport to the Hyatt Place may be made through Davis Airporter or Super Shuttle. The Hyatt Place provides a free shuttle from the hotel to locations in Davis, and transportation will be provided from the hotel to the conference sites during the weekend.
If you are a sponsored representative your hotel room will be complimentary, but you still need to make a reservation at the Hyatt Place. If you are not a sponsored representative you should reserve and pay for your room personally. If you would like to share a room please contact Julie Meadows. A lodging form will be distributed through the list serve to PCVE members.
Meals are included with the registration, but please select your included Friday and Saturday dinners as well as the Sunday box lunch at the registration site so that we can have an accurate count as we realize that some attendees may choose not to have these meals. You may also purchase additional dinner tickets for guests traveling with you.
