Student Financial Aid at UC Davis
All financial aid awards at UCD are contingent upon completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). You can complete this application online or dowload an electronic version at: http://www.fafsa.ed.gov. Remember, the sooner after January 1 you complete and submit the application, the more likely the financial aid office will receive and process your application in time for eligibility for state grants.
If you have problems with your financial aid, the Veterinary School's financial aid coordinator is Miesha Williams (mdwilliams@ucdavis.edu). You can accept your awards online through eFAN at financialaid.ucdavis.edu/apps/eFAN and get information about your financial aid status via the Student Information System on the Web (SISWEB) at sisweb.ucdavis.edu. Finally, information about financial aid policies at UCD is available via the Financial Aid Office web site at financialaid.ucdavis.edu.
Students are also encouraged to apply for the numerous UCD School of Veterinary Medicine Scholarships. Last year, the school awarded 600 awards valued at a total of $1.5 million! The deadline for the general application is at the end of the Fall quarter and any required supplemental materials are due several weeks afterward. The general application can be obtained and completed online through the Registered Student Pages (RSP), My Academics section. Please check the most current Scholarship Handbook for information on exact due dates and submission locations for the supplemental materials.
