Purina Food Program 2013-2014

Welcome to the 2013-2014 school year! Please refer to the following guidelines for information on how to sign up and order Purina diets for your pets. We have information on our online ordering system for students ( If you have any questions, feel free to contact any of your Purina Student Representatives. Thank you and have a great year!  


What is offered?

One credit a month (one credit = one product - regardless of product weight, i.e. one bag of dry food OR one flat of canned food).  You get one credit a month, that can be used any time during the course of that month.  However, if you do not use your credit by the last day of the month, this credit is lost.  Your order will be shipped to your personal home address.  This must be a local address (i.e. Davis, Dixon, Vacaville), as these products are to be used for your personal pets only.  


What products are offered?

Most Purina Veterinary Diets for dogs & cats are available, as well as some of the Purina Proplan line for dogs & cats.  This includes dry food and canned food.  Also, Purina Gentle Snackers are available.


How do I sign up:
New users:
 Pick up a Purina Food Program Card via one of these two methods:

 - Go to the Purina talk (date TBA).  This is the preferred method of card distribution.
 - Please e-mail your Purina reps if you cannot make it to the meeting.  You can discuss a time to meet up and receive your card.
 - Please note: cards must be received in person, and we cannot leave it in your mailbox, as these are valuable and we want to ensure that they get to the intended recipients.
           - Go to
           - Log-in using the username and passcode on the back of your individual food program card.  
           - Register with your information.  Once you do this, your username will become your e-mail address, and you     can create your own password.


How do I order:

 - Go to
 - Log-in using your username and password.
 - Click on “Food Bowl” on the top right of the screen. Click through the different products, and add to cart when you’ve decided what you want.
 - Continue through until you’ve confirmed your purchase.
 - If you are ordering a Purina Veterinary Diet, you must enter the code “nutrition” (all lowercase) in order to complete the purchase.
 - You will then receive an e-mail confirming your order.


When should I expect my order?:

 - You will receive a 2nd e-mail confirming that your item has shipped.  Depending on the availability of things, this e-mail may come between 1 day to 2 weeks of you placing your order.
 - After you receive this e-mail, the product usually comes within 2-3 days.
 - If you have not received the shipping confirmation e-mail within 2 weeks of your order, or you have received the shipping e-mail, but have no received the order within 1 week, please contact your Purina Student Reps (contact information below).


What if I already have a card?

If you already have a card, you can use the same log-in information you used last year to order food.  We will verify that those people who order online have paid the SCAVMA food program fee via Paypal.
