  • Application process: Submit letter of intent including list of experiences and skills, letter of recommendation from at least one faculty member, and curriculum vitae to Dr. Anderson. Rolling admissions.
  • Perks : Student must have own transportation, although Florida Wildlife Hospital offers an apartment September through April for $90/ wk. The apartment is a 20-min. drive from the zoo.
  • Duration : 3-8 wks.
  • Additional Info : Extern may be required to present a case report to staff during externship.
