Michael Floyd

Michael Floyd is owner of the Orinda Veterinary Dental Service. He is a pioneer in the field of veterinary dentistry and has worked long and hard to develop the discipline of dentistry as a recognized specialty within the profession of veterinary medicine. Dr. Floyd is a 1961 graduate of the School of Veterinary Medicine, University of California, Davis.

Dr. Floyd has held many professional offices throughout the years and has been a member of several scientific organizations. In 1992 he received the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine's Alumni Achievement Award, the highest honor the school can bestow upon a graduate. He was recognized for his vision and dedication in establishing dentistry as a regular part of the veterinary practice.
