Advisory Team Minutes

The Genetics Core Advisory Team (GCAT) is composed of the director of the core, the core scientists and technicians, representatives from each of the 4 CNPRC units, UCDavis primate geneticists and non-UCD primate geneticists. Current members of the team include Dr. David G. Smith (UCDavis) and Dr. John Ely (Bioqual, Inc). The board sets the priorities and the focus of the core and provides recommendations to colony services for the management of the primates at the CNPRC. The board meets on an ad hoc basis to meet the genetic service demands and will oversee requests to the genetic core by individual researchers. Requests for genetic services can be directed to the core by e-mail at: primategenome@ucdavis.edu
