The Centers of Excellence are 26 units which represent sponsored and organized research activities in the School of Veterinary Medicine. These Centers tend to highlight the interests and expertise of faculty and further serve as a means of marketing faculty strengths of the School.

The Directors of these Centers are enthusiastic leaders with the vision necessary to ensure that the respective programs meet the needs of the animal species to which their programs are committed.

Young Investigator Award

Graduate veterinarians pursuing advanced research training through doctoral or post-doctoral programs are invited to compete for the Young Investigator Award by submitting a research abstract with supporting documentation and a biographical sketch (specific requirements presented below). The abstract will appear in the meeting program distributed on site, but will not be published.
