Haring Hall Facility

On-Campus Facility at Haring Hall:

The facility is a multi-purpose working area partitioned for molecular biology, fish dissection and histology tasks.  Basic equipments (e.g. centrifuges, incubators, shakers) as well as sophisticated machines (thermal cyclers, spectrophotometers (Nanodrop), microarray hybridization system, ELISA plate washer and microplate reader) are placed in this room for DNA, RNA and protein work.  Dissection microscopes, balances and liquid nitrogen dewars are used for fish dissection and sample storage.  We also have histo-embedder and microtomes for preparing tissue paraffin blocks and sectioning in this room.
