Includes a wide range of U.S. and foreign newspapers, plus transcripts of television and radio news programs. Legal resources include state and federal laws and regulations, a full range of case law, and law review articles.

PsycINFO is a department of the American Psychological Association (APA). It provides citations to articles in professional journals, conference proceedings, books, reports, dissertations and even important internet sites in psychology and related disciplines, most with abstracts and some citations.

Sociological Abstracts Database is a primary resource for accessing the latest research sponsored in sociology and related disciplines in the social and behavioral sciences. The database draws information from an international selection of over 2,600 journals and other serials publications, plus conference papers, books, and dissertations. Records added after 1974 contain in-depth and nonevaluative abstracts of journal articles.

Provides access to the three ISI (Institute for Scientific Information) Citation Databases: Science Citation Index Expanded; Social Sciences Citation Index; Arts & Humanities Citation Index.
The Web of Science (WOS) database is enormous, covering multiple disciplines. The indexing is less sophisticated than other databases but searching by keywords ("topic") and combining ("and") search results will identify relevant and authoritative citations.
WOS is unique with its Cited Reference Search, which identifies articles that cite a particular publication. This feature allows the user to essentially track citations forward, retrieving current publications that cite research from the past.
