Welcome to CCAH
Welcome to the Center for Companion Animal Health (CCAH) at the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. The CCAH was founded in 1992 and has grown progressively since then, with the completion of a $16.7M building addition in spring 2004.
Our mission is to improve the health of companion animals by encouraging and supporting academic studies into diseases affecting dogs, cats, and small alternative pets.
We also develop and support programs that will benefit pets and their owners, including the Koret Shelter Medicine Program, the first academically-based program in shelter animal health. Please explore our web site to learn more about the Center for Companion Animal Health at UC Davis.
I hope that you will enjoy our web site and find it informative and useful.
