Articles By and For Pet Owners

Links to lay articles that we hope will be of interest to you are included below.

Articles on specific disease problems of small companion animals are often prepared by lay people and placed on the web. Some of these articles are particularly helpful to pet owners, because they combine personal insights and experiences with accurate and simply presented information. When such articles are identified by the CCAH, we pass them by appropriate faculty members for review. Articles that accurately portray a disease condition in a personal and helpful manner are then placed on our website with the author's permission. These articles, like articles of a more professional nature, are not meant to substitute for direct veterinary care, but rather to put more human faces on common and serious health problems of our pets.
