Ongoing Studies by CEH Researchers
 

Studies conducted by CEH researchers address important problems encountered by all types of horses. Over 70 equine specialists from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine and the UC Davis Department of Animal Science, as well as members of the equine programs at California State University campuses, conduct CEH-funded projects.

Areas of research involve virtually all disciplines, including orthopedics, surgery, reproduction,
neonatology, radiology and other imaging techniques, medicine, gastroenterology,
physiology, sports medicine, anatomy, anesthesiology,
genetics, immunology, pathology, microbiology, clinical pathology, pharmacology, toxicology, drug testing, and nutrition.
