The Center for Equine Health is dedicated to advancing the health, well being, performance and veterinary care of horses through research and education. As part of that mission, the Center distributes information generated from its scientific endeavors and its affiliation with the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital in publication formats that are easily accessible to both horse enthusiasts and veterinary professionals.
The primary publication used for this communication is The Horse Report. Published quarterly, it provides up-to-date information on numerous topics related to equine health.
A second publication entitled Research Review highlights our ongoing research endeavors and reports on discoveries from newly completed scientific investigations.
In addition, annual specialty publications concentrate on an in-depth discussion of a single topic considered critically important to the horse industry (Equine Sanctuary & Rescue Facility Guidelines, Suspensory Ligament Injuries in Horses, Global Health and the Sport Horse, Racing Against Time).

Please note: Due to rising publication costs and postage rates, we are not able to mail The Horse Report outside the United States. If you would like to be notified by e-mail when a new issue of the The Horse Report is available online, please send an e-mail request to Laurie Christison at ljchristison@ucdavis.edu.
