Equine Vaccinations

While horse owners should consult their veterinarians for specific rrecommendations on vaccinations for individual horses, the following tables present the most current general guidelines for adult horses, yearlings, weanlings and foals.

EHV-1 Vaccinations

There are several vaccines available for protection against both respiratory and abortogenic forms of EHV-1. However, at this time there is no equine vccine that has a label claim for protection against the neurological strain of the virus. Consult your veterinarian for further guidance if you are considering the use of EHV-1 vaccines.
