Extensions

Hatch (H) and Animal Health (AH): A one-time, one-year extension on Hatch and Animal Health projects is allowed with permission from Associate Director.
Submit written justification outlining the circumstances/necessity for the extension to Rowena Banks for processing.

Hatch/Multistate (RR): When a National Research Support Project (NRSP) or regional Multistate Research Project (MRF) is extended, the termination date on the associated CA AES Hatch/Multistate project will automatically update in CRIS web forms (thus, there is no need to request an extension for individual CA AES Hatch/Multistate projects).

Grant extensions (CG, SG, or OG): When a Competitive Grant (NRI or AFRI), Special Grant or Other NIFA Grant is extended, the termination date on the associated grant will automatically update in CRIS web forms.
