About the posters:
This year the posters will be promoted in advance. Information on posters along with the areas of expertise of the presenters will be shared with the industry before the convention. Therefore, besides the poster title, authors, and organization, a short paragraph including the presenter's areas of expertise is requested.
Everyone is encouraged to present a poster that describes their research. Posters can also describe future research plans when research collaborations between industry and academia are desired. Poster presentations are a great opportunity to interact with the industry and start a fruitful collaboration!
There will not be a poster competition this year as had been agreed at the last S-294 meeting in New Orleans. Everyone presenting a poster will be given a free All-Access Pass to the United Fresh 2012 convention.
These are the deadlines (send the information to me):
March 15: Poster title, authors, organization, and a short paragraph including the presenter's areas of expertise.
