6th Annual Behavior Medicine Symposium

When: Saturday, January 23rd 2010: Lectures
Sunday, January 24th 2010: Wet Lab

Where: Gladys Valley Hall, UC Davis Veterinary School campus

Why: Clinical animal behavior is one of the most rapidly expanding fields of veterinary medicine. Pet owners will turn to you for help in diagnosing and treating behavior problems in their animal companions- we'll give you the essential tools to prevent and treat them!

Keynote speaker Dr. Ian Dunbar will spend two hours discussing practical applications of puppy behavior during our Saturday lecture session. As experienced at AVMA 2009, Dr. Sophia Yin will present a hands-on laboratory session on Sunday using the techniques outlined in her new book: Low Stress Handling, Restraint, and Behavior Modification of Dogs and Cats. Space is limited to 30 veterinary professionals per lab (DVM and RVT, unlicensed technicians upon request.)

Registration online is encouraged! You will be able to pay with Paypal, order t-shirts, and submit questions for the Discussion Session with the Behavior Residents. If you wish to register by mail, please click here to download the form.
