Rounds

The Equine Medicine Club hosts weekly rounds on current topics in equine medicine. Topics have included:

  • Colic: Diagnosis, Treatment and Prevention
  • Medical and Surgical Management of the Critical Neonate
  • Performing an Oral Exam and Routine Dental Work
  • Case Report: Multiple Myeloma in a Gelding
  • Emergency Wound Management

Rounds are held in 1041 VALLEY each Wednesday at 6:00pm. All students are, of course, welcome to join us! For more information, please contact the rounds coordinators, Alison Hoffman and Jessica Wuoltee.

 

Wetlabs

The Equine Medicine Club hosts wetlabs each quarter for the purpose of providing more "hands-on" learning for its members. Past wetlabs have included:

  • Dentistry
  • Farriery
  • Abdominal, ocular and musculotendinous ultrasound
