Mercer Clinic for the Pets of the Homeless

As 2018 kicks off, we’d like to take a moment to reflect on what we’ve accomplished in 2017:

  • We overcame many hurdles that came after our building suffered water damage in early 2017. Repairs have since been completed, and our building is getting some much needed interior updates! Pictures to come soon!
  • We purchased a new ultrasound machine, and have been using it every month to examine patients.
  • We had a whopping 1554 patient visits over the past 12 months!
  • We helped 60 pets get spayed and neutered, thanks to the generosity of the Sacramento SPCA.
  • We are so, so close to getting our procedure suite up and running, to be able to complete much needed dental treatments.

Thank you to our donors, supporters, and volunteers for allowing us to do what we love and help those in need!

Kicking off the Holiday Season

Mercer Clinic's annual Santa Paws fundraising event was a huge success!

Thanks to generous donors and sponsors, Mercer Veterinary Clinic is now located in its own building next to Loaves and Fishes.

Through extensive fundraising, we were able to purchase two portable trailers to convert into a permanent clinic. Mercer Veterinary Clinic provides invaluable opportunities for high quality medicine, practice management, budgeting, client relationships and technical skills.

Introducing Mercer Clinic's Newest member: The Ultrasound!

Ultrasound machine!

Thanks to generous donations and hard-earned fundraising, Mercer Clinic for the Pets of the Homeless was able to purchase an ultrasound machine.

With our new ultrasound machine, we will be able to provide better diagnostic services, improve patient care, and increase learning opportunities for our student volunteers. Thank you to everyone who helped us reach this goal.
