Scholarships
Scholarships
provide funds to help students during their four rigorous years of veterinary medical education toward the DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) degree.
Fellowships
Fellowships provide funds for graduate students who have completed the DVM and
are obtaining an advanced degree, such as a PhD. These graduate students assist our
faculty with teaching and important research projects. They are our future scientists
and faculty members.
Residents
Residents are fully licensed veterinarians who return for specialty training to become
board-certified in their area of interest, such as dermatology, internal medicine, oncology, etc. Our residents work side-by-side with clinical faculty in the William R.
Pritchard Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital. Gifts to the residency program for
these veterinarians in training are used to fund their research projects or travel to
required scientific meetings.
