Research:
Maintains multiple cell lines, performs virus isolation from sheep with or
suspected to have bluetongue virus, and runs titrations and microneutralization
  assays to determine number of virus particles and presence of antibodies. Work
focuses on equine herpesvirus-2, with emphasis on the glycoprotein β fragment to determine how
the genetic sequence changes over time in foals.
