Guy Pidgeon is president and CEO of The Animal Medical Center in New York City, a private, not-for-profit veterinary hospital that is widely known for its excellent clinical research and post-graduate training programs.
Dr. Pidgeon is a diplomat of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine. He received the Norden Pharmaceuticals Distinguished Professor Award in 1983 and 1985, and was named the College of Veterinary Medicine's Teacher of the Year in 1984 and 1990 by the Auburn University Student Government Association.
Dr. Pidgeon received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1975 from Colorado State University. He interned at The Animal Medical Center and completed residency training in small animal internal medicine at the University of California, Davis.
