Gary Rogers

Gary RogersGary is retired from a career with the Chevron Corporation that spanned 29 years. While with Chevron he worked in research and development for petroleum refining and was part of the division for strategic and business planning management, which provided him the opportunity to live in such places as Brussels and London. He now enjoys world travel and hiking and is active in the Sierra Club and the Orinda Hiking Club.

Gary is a graduate of Manhattan Kansas High School, where it happened that his father taught math. By coincidence the senior Mr. Rogers at one time had a student in his Algebra class by the name of Bennie Osburn. Gary served as a First Lieutenant in the U.S. Army during the sixties and was married for 43 years to his late wife Betty Randecker.
