Research Focus

My laboratory focuses on the role of platelet membrane physiology during cellular activation, by endogenous factors in disease as well as by exogenous factors such as cold, desiccation and oxidative stress. Further, we work to develop methods to preserve platelets and their associated growth factors for use as wound healing aides.
