Research Focus

I run the UC Davis Cardiovascular surgery program, including the development and maintenance of the programs website. I also run the Cardiovascular Research Laboratory in the veterinary school, which undertakes cardiovascular tissue engineering and transplant rejection research projects. I also perform clinical cardiology research, mentoring cardiology residents on a daily basis and supervising clinical cardiology cases in the VMTH.

Specialty Focus

Medical cardiology, cardiac surgery, echocardiography, interventional cardiology, cardiovascular tissue engineering and xenogeneic transplant immunology
