All-Species Imaging Center

Upon completion, the All-Species Imaging Center will be critical to all 34 hospital specialty services, will be centrally located to serve all patients, large and small. The strategic placement of imaging equipment will expedite diagnosis and patient care, reduce stress and wait time for our patients and maximize operational efficiencies. Advanced imaging is fundamental to research across multiple disciplines including surgery, oncology, neurology, opthalmology and many more. An exciting addition to our imaging services will be PET scan diagnostics; amplifying our technical advantage and strengthening the recruitment of excellent faculty and staff.

Equine Performance Center

Equine Performance Center Rendering

Upon completion, the Equine Performance Center will transform our equine services with a new arena and gait analysis lab for lameness evaluations. With the opportunity to observe horses performing under saddle, our equine specialists will be able to better detect and treat the underlying injury or medical condition. This exciting facility design includes state-of-the-art force-plate analysis not available in many veterinary settings and opens a new avenue to improved performance through clinical research.

Livestock and Field Services Center

Livestock and Field Services Center Rendering

Upon completion of upgrades and modifications to the facilities, the Livestock and Field Services Center will be able to better handle the animals received onsite and to provide them with the optimal veterinary care our hospital offers. The Livestock Medicine Service allows students to participate in surgeries such as castrations, common abdominal surgeries, C-sections and leg fracture repairs. The Livestock Herd Heath and Reproduction Service is an opportunity for future livestock clinicians to hone their skills in some of the newest techniques being offered. Students become skilled in artificial insemination, embryo transfers, other advanced reproductive technologies and gaining a better understandings of basic herd health concepts.
