Title: Fundamentals of Veterinary Science - A Summer School
Description: A nine-week residential school for 12-14 participants
who are clinical veterinary students or new veterinary graduates. Participants
are selected from the entire worldwide veterinary community, and part
of the success of the School derives from the interaction of extremely
able students with somewhat different national and educational backgrounds.
The School pays participants an Honorarium and also pays residence and
travel costs. The academic program consists of workshops and seminars
as well as a research project in one of Cambridge University's leading
laboratories.

Qualifications: Clinical veterinary students or
new veterinary graduates
Best time of year: June 27 to August 28, 2004. Exact dates
will vary each year according to semester breaks at the University
of Cambridge.
Housing, other information: Participants are housed in a single,
private dormitory of a Cambridge college with a shared lounge and kitchen.
Breakfast is provided.
NOTE: No Agreement of Cooperation exists between this
institution and UC Davis. Students are responsible for making their own
arrangements and paying the institution's standard fees.
