Opportunities exist for veterinary students and faculty to visit other countries and participate in training activities for a limited period of time. Opportunities can be viewed by either country, category, and faculty opportunities by clicking on the links below.

The UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine has many international agreements of cooperation which outline the exchange guidelines between UC Davis and the foreign institution included in the agreement. There is a notation for each externship opportunity about whether or not an agreement of cooperation exists for the institution/organization offering the exchange opportunity along with instructions for how to arrange the externship.

Veterinary students and faculty in foreign countries who wish to participate in an exchange opportunity at UC Davis should contact the SVM International Programs staff for information and assistance.
