With faculty expertise across many species, the UC Davis One Health Institute and the Karen C. Drayer Wildlife Health Center attract students from around the world who are interested in our unique research and educational programs. 

Most students enroll in a four-year program leading to the Ph.D. that emphasizes wildlife health and advanced research training in an appropriate academic discipline. Past students have received doctorate degrees in comparative pathology, epidemiology, ecology, genetics and pharmacology and toxicology. Students can choose one of our faculty members as their major professor for their masters thesis.
