Reaching Out

Education and outreach to the public and scientific communities are a vital piece of the OWCN's activities. As a recognized world leader in oiled wildlife response, the OWCN has helped develop national and international oiled bird and mammal care standards. Staff members regularly consult with and educate responders from around the world. The OWCN sponsors research conferences and shares its protocols with qualified researchers and responders.
