On October 18 and 19, the OWCN held its first Annual Rehabilitation Conference. The first day of the conference was located in Davis and included a number of lectures focusing on a variety of subjects ranging from OWCN protocols and research to new rehabilitation techniques. The the second day offered participants the opportunity to gain hands-on experience at either the San Francisco Bay Oiled Wildlife Care and Education Center or The Marine Mammal Center in Sausalito.
