Our lab group investigates causes of pulmonary and vascular disease in humans and animals using a multidisciplinary approach of morphology, cell biology, genomics and proteomics.  Our current projects investigate:
 
Pathogenesis of pulmonary hypertension using human pulmonary artery endothelial cells and the animal model of the monocrotaline treated rat
 
Mechanisms of atherogenesis by studying endothelial signaling and permeability in cultured human aortic endothelium exposed to post-prandial lipids
