"PMI encompasses the full spectrum of disease pathogenesis. Our faculty is redefining the relationships between disease, pathogens and the environment in both animals and humans. Our teaching applies these principles to develop an understanding of animal disease for professional veterinary students and to train graduate students to discover new knowledge of comparative biology and medicine. As chair, my goal is to assure our faculty has the freedom to continue their discovery and to give them the best possible support for their teaching mission. " |
