Dr. Tablin is a veterinary researcher whose work focuses on dissecting the molecular mechanisms of platelet function in animals and humans. Her laboratory uses a combination of cell biological, biochemical and biophysical assays to study the behavior of platelets in normal, activated and pathological states. Additional studies in the laboratory focus on platelet membrane lipid rafts, specialized signaling platforms whose maintenance is essential for normal cellular function. If you are interested in the work in Dr. Tablin's laboratory please feel free to e-mail her at ftablin@ucdavis.edu.
