McDonald Rivas Grant applications and grant awards for equine
related projects are now under the direction of the Center
for Equine Health.
New application guidelines, requirements
and deadlines are now in effect. Applications
and guidelines can be downloaded from the CEH web site at http://www.vetmed.ucdavis.edu/ceh/.
On the left hand menu click on the Links, Events & Questionnaires. From
there, click on the CEH RESEARCH FUNDING - UCD Faculty and Staff access only link. You
will need your Kerberos user name and password. Please check this site
as soon as possible, as not to miss your opportunity to apply.
The major change
under the new system is an earlier application deadline FEBRUARY
11, 2005. All applicants are eligible to submit their proposals
by January 14, 2005 for pre-review. This is being done
to help applicants strengthen their proposals prior to review by the full CEH
Scientific Review Committee. There are also changes regarding eligibility,
application format and progress reporting under this new system. You
will need to familiarize yourself with these changes before submitting any
proposals. Please contact the CEH should you have any questions regarding
these new procedures or your eligibility to apply.
