My primate genetics projects include the California National Primate Research Center rhesus macaque colony as well as other NIH supported colonies in the U.S. I am also involved with population and conservation genetics research on extant orangutan populations in Borneo and Sumatra. My veterinary forensics research includes DNA analysis of evidence from animals, research on establishing species-specific DNA markers for accurate and precise genetic identification of forensic samples.
