The Graduate Education Program affiliated with the School of Veterinary Medicine makes use of the graduate group concept. Self-governing organizations of faculty members formed for the purpose of a graduate group may transcend school, college, and departmental boundaries; the group is sponsored by the departments of the participating faculty members. The value to graduate students is that they may interact with faculty campus-wide. International students must complete a preliminary application for review of minimum entrance requirements and are not eligible for financial aid during the first year.
