Research Focus: Identification and characterization of the molecules underlying the ability of protozoan pathogens, like Toxoplasma gondii and Plasmodium spp., to exchange small molecules, such as nutrients, with their host cells.

Specialty Focus: The physical and molecular interface between intracellular protozoan pathogens and their host cells.
