The U.S. Department of Education has delegated to the American Veterinary Medical Association’s Council on Education the responsibility for accrediting the schools and colleges of veterinary medicine in the United States. The UC Davis, School of Veterinary Medicine was last reviewed for accreditation in 2004 and at that time was awarded FULL ACCREDITATION status. Each school or college of veterinary medicine is reviewed on a 7-year cycle. Our next review will be in 2011.
