2009-2010
Applications for 2010 matriculation are due October 2, 2009, noon EST. Applications must be submitted through the Veterinary Medical Application Service (www.aavmc.org). Please visit our website for complete admission requirements or the desciptor page which can be found at VMCAS. Please read all instructions carefully before submitting the application.
Graduate Record Examination must be taken by October 1, 2009 to be considered for admission. To ensure the scores are sent to our program, please include the Instituional Code of 4804 and the Departmental Code 0617 for UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine.
All letters of evaluation must be submitted electronically through VMCAS. A minimum of three is required, however VMCAS will accept up to five letters. It is the applicants responsibility to make sure the evaluators submit their letter by the October 2 deadline.
All transcripts, GRE scores and any additional information must be postmarked by October 2 and submitted directly to: University of California, School of Veterinary Medicine, Office of the Dean-Admissions, One Shields Ave, Davis, CA 95616 .
Due to the volume of supporting information we receive, we will not be able to verify receipt of transcripts and/or GRE scores. We will send you a notification (via email) that your application is complete or incomplete when we process and verify all supporting information. Notifications will be sent sometime between late October through early December. If you are notied that your application is incomplete, you will be given 5 business days to complete your application.
