UC Davis Provost's Statement on Diversity
UC Davis Provost, Ralph J. Hexter, says in his Statement on Diversity, "One of the great success stories in higher education over the last half-century or so is our progress in the areas of diversity and inclusion."
UC Davis Office of Campus Community Relations
The mission of the Office of Campus Community Relations (OCCR) is to ensure the attention to those components of the campus community that affect community, campus climate, diversity and inclusiveness. There are many resources available through the OCCR, including diversity education, resources and events. The successful conduct of the university's affairs requires that every member of the university community acknowledge and practice - The Principles of Community.
UC Davis Strategic Plan for Diversity & Inclusion
In the fall of 2014, Chancellor Katehi appointed the Diversity & Inclusion Strategic Planning Committee (DI) to develop an innovative plan for diversity and inclusion for UC Davis as part of the 20/20 Initiative. There were twelve working groups established as components of this initiative to create a strategic plan for diversity and inclusion and best practices for higher education and life as lived in the UC Davis of the 21st Century.
