- Applications available online through the Veterinary Medical Colleges Application Service (VMCAS) website at https://www.vmcas.org in June.

Last date to take the GRE is September 30, 2011. The UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine GRE institution code is 4804. Score reports for exams taken prior to September must be received in our office by October 3rd. September exam scores must be received by November.

Deadline to submit application to VMCAS is October 3, 2011, 10:00 a.m. PST.

Transcripts and optional supplemental forms must be sent directly to the School at the address below and postmarked by October 3, 2011.
- Notices of application receipt and completion will be sent to applicants October-December. Please note: Due to the large volume of mail we receive, we cannot verify that your transcripts, GRE scores or other supporting documents have been received prior to processing your VMCAS application. We will contact applicants via email if their application is missing documents and a short grace period will be allowed to order/re-order transcripts and GRE scores. All letters of evaluations/recommendations must be submitted directly to VMCAS by the application deadline. Do not send these letters to our office.
- Interview offers will be announced in February.
- Applicants not offered interviews will be notified of their status in February.
- Interview Workshop and Orientation in late February.
- Interviews will be held late February to mid-March at the School on the UC Davis campus.
- Final admission decisions and notifications announced by April 1.
- Class begins mid-August.
