Applicant Important Dates:
June 5, 2013: Applications available online through the Veterinary Medical College Application Service (VMCAS) website address: http://aavmc.org/Students-Applicants-and-Advisors/Veterinary-Medical-College-Application-Service.aspx. See the new AAVMC Tuition Map: http://aavmc.org/tuitionmap.aspx.
September 1, 2013: Deadline to submit transcripts to VMCAS. See VMCAS address below. Read CRITICAL Information regarding transcript verification: http://aavmc.org/transcriptver.aspx.
September 1, 2013: Last date to take the GRE for 2013/14 application cycle. The UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine GRE code is 4804.
October 2, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. PST: Application submission deadline to VMCAS.
October 2, 2013: Deadline for GRE score reports to be received by the Admissions Office. (Must be sent directly from ETS.)
October 2, 2013: Deadline for ETS PPI Letters of Evaluation to be received by the Admissions Office. (Note: It takes up to two weeks for ETS to send PPI evaluations to the Admissions Office; therefore, evaluators should submit PPI evaluations to ETS by mid-September.)
Mid-October 2013: UC Davis SVM supplemental application available online via the portal. (No Fee)
Mid-October 2013: Application status available via the portal
Mid-December 2013: MMI Interviews
Mid-January 2014: Admission notifications posted to portal
February 1, 2014: Deadline to submit fall 2013 transcripts for admitted students
April 15, 2014: Deadline for admitted students to accept or decline offers of admission (No enrollment deposit required.) Deferments reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Mid-August: School starts
