State and National Board Examinations
Education about board examination and licensure procedures begins early in the veterinary program with an annual presentation to first-year students by representatives from the California Veterinary Medical Board (CVMB). Each year the Student Programs Office sends a list of senior students to the CVMB attesting to their anticipated June graduation, as required for their participation in the fall and spring California and national board examinations. Additionally, the Student Programs Office completes individual enrollment and degree certifications for current senior students and alumni when necessary for board examination applications.
