The UC Mosquito Research Program is a statewide special program within the University of California Division of Agriculture and Natural Resources.

Formed in 1972, it is a multicampus program dedicated to stimulating and supporting research among the various academic departments and research organizations in the biology and control of mosquitoes and other vectors and vector-borne diseases. The main purpose of this research: to develop information, materials and techniques to assist state and local agencies in protecting the citizens of California from vectors and vector-borne diseases.
