West Nile Disease: Board Members Stand by W. Nile Battle

Robert K. Washino, a professor emeritus in the UC Davis department of entomology, who has represented Davis on the board for more than 30 years, says "things turned out about as well as can be." Michael Parrella, associate dean of the College of Agricultural and Environmental Science, has represented the county for 10 years. He says the district's response was "phenomenal."
