Animal Ambassadors Youth Education Outreach Program, a bridge to the world of science.

Catastrophic accidents and illnesses affecting animals can happen at any time. Two new booklets by Pam Hullinger, DVM, California Department of Food and Agriculture, and Carolyn Stull, PhD, Veterinary Medicine Extension, UC Davis, offer a summary of the current, best practices for providing a humane death for horses, sheep and goats in the absence of a veterinarian.
