This study is one of the 13 (6.5%) out of about 200 NRICGP proposals funded by the USDA Water Resources Assessment and Protection Program.
It was also a successful applicant in a national request for proposals, by the American Water Works Association Research Foundation, for developing DNA fingerprinting tools.
