The Regenerative Medicine Laboratory is a research-driven laboratory. The new knowledge we will acquire in this exciting and continually evolving field will allow us to offer a broader range of novel services in the future.
At the present time, clinical application of stem cells in small animals is directed toward the experimental treatment of orthopedic injuries and joint disease in dogs. We anticipate that this application will expand into areas such as neurology, gastroenterology, ophthalmology and metabolic diseases in the future. Other species such as llamas and alpacas, cattle and goats will eventaully benefit as well from cell-based therapy.
