Color Flow Doppler Echocardiography
Right parasternal long-axis view of the ventricles and aorta
Remember that blue signifies flow going away from the transducer (blue away - BA) and red signifies flow going toward the transducer (red toward - RT) to give BART. RV - right ventricular cavity; LV - left ventricular cavity; Ao - aorta.
Video of the color flow Doppler blood flow pattern in Nimbus' heart.
The blood flow pattern is the same as in the still image above, but now can be seen in real time.
Right parasternal obliqued view of the right ventricle and main pulmonary artery
This color flow Doppler picture shows turbulent blood flow originating from the pulmonic valve region. RV - right ventricle; Ao - aorta; LA - left atrial cavity.
